Wandel & Goltermann was founded in 1923 by Wolfram Wandel and Ulrich Goltermann. The company is very well known worldwide as they manufactured high quality analysis equipment of all types, from fiberoptic equipment to communications test sets and much more. In 1998 Wandel & Goltermann merged with the Wavetek Corporation and became Wavetek Wandel & Goltermann. Two years later Wavetek Wandel & Goltermann (WWG) merged with TTC to become Acterna which was in turn acquired by JDSU in 2005. Throughout these changes Wandel & Goltermann's high standards were never compromised.
